Does the Acai Berry Really Help You Lose Weight?
Acai has exploded onto the scene as a brand new weight loss method. It’s been featured on popular shows such as Oprah and seems to be just exponentially growing in popularity. There really is an acai craze going on. I see ads everywhere about how celebrities use it with so much success (most of these celebrities are just randomly picked however, I wouldn’t trust the ad). However, is all of this just hype? Or is the acai berry truly the super weight loss method it’s described to be. I would say the answer is somewhere in the middle. There is no doubt that the health benefits of acai are numerous. However, it will not make you lose 30 lbs in a month. In fact, nothing can make you healthily lose weight that fast. That being said, it can, when combined with a healthy life in general, acai can definitely aid in weight loss. Just don’t expect it to do all the work.
